Andrew
yeah i kinda figured somewhere around that were the GM original specs ever released? NOPE the original design had better flowing heads and intakes as well as some cam differences (and tuning differences, of course) i think. there IS a lot of power to gain just by doing head and intake work. cant remember what year yours is, but i would do an obd2 swap, if its not already, as well as built 282 or 65e-hd or build your stock tranny (or just wait till it blows). damn me and this guy are on the same page!! one thing to think about if you want custom cams .... remember you have 4, so thats big $$$ !! 1990lumina
My school is an apprenticeship thing too..I'm just doing the school part now and the practical hours later. thats cool. my dad talked to some recent wyotech grads and all of them wanted to be custom fabricators, not techs. thats 30 grand for all school and not much hands-on mechanical repair I see. My school is costing me $4000 w/ books for this 8month course. It's almost all hands on during school (I get my practical hours for first year apprentice while in school) and then more hand-on on the job. After that I have to go back for 2 months but my employer will most likely pay for it.
