Fuel lines from the Vapor canistor to the tank

My car's problem was the pump.

 

I replaced the pump however, the two lines that go to the canistor were rotted. They fell apart in my hands.

 

The canistor itself is marked "Purge" and "Tank"

 

I have some braided stainless to replace those lines....

 

and the tank is already intalled with the strapps on it.

 

My question is which lines off the tank go to the "Purge" and which goes to the "Tank"? Or does it matter?

Aren’t those lines two different sizes?

Does the purge line go to the tank at all? I think it goes straight to the hard line going towards the engine bay.
