lukee1982
i would say from what i can tell not an emergency but preventitive maintence is always a good thing. I am doing mine this weekend and it looks about like yours mine has 119000 miles and i figure if I snap (96) i will have more troubles in the long run. GnatGoSplat
It looks fine. If it's old, you can change it. At any rate, it's not urgent. One where the belt is starting to get chewed by the pulleys is urgent. A belt in that situation will be offset to one side and will continuously get narrower and narrower till SNAPPO! SmokesGTP
Haha mine is about half that width, I got an appointment next week for it to be changed. 500$ sound like a good price, i think so. I'm thinking I will notice a noticeable performance gain, not to mention peace of mind from changing this belt because it has been this way since I bought it and have never driven it with a fresh belt. I can't wait time for some stoplight races with some people who have been talkin smack sayin I won't race cause I'm too scared to lose when I tell em its the belt.
