Andrew Posted August 22, 2007 Report Share Posted August 22, 2007 i dont know what the stock rate is, but 250lbs springs seem to be a popular choice. some say they are a little too stiff though, some say they are just right. you might also look into some progressive rate springs, they are the best of both worlds. Andrew Posted August 23, 2007 Report Share Posted August 23, 2007 yeah i did it just like this except i only made two holes, one on each side. it allows coolant to flow at all times, makes the system easier to bleed the air out, and it runs a bit cooler at highway speeds.
