Anyone have some pictures of cleaning the EGR passage out (3100)???

This is for my sister's car, and I'm not about to drive to Milwaukee to fix it.

Anyways, here's the story. My sister takes her 94 Cutlass Supreme 3100 to the emissions station for the bi-annual test. The car failed with a 2.66 NOx reading on a 2.00 max allowable. All other scores were very low compared to what they allow. It has had a recent tuneup, and she has since installed a new air filter.

The car has always had trouble with its digital EGR so she purchased a new one off of ebay at a very low price to install...($60 shipped)

SO, what i need is some pictures of this process for a How-To so she can handle swapping out her EGR and cleaning the passage. Any good pictures would be a great help. Her car needs to be run through again within about the next two weeks.

Thanks for any help!

I don't have any photos right at this moment, but tell her once the EGR is off, to clean out the hole that the EGR pipe is NOT attached to. She's also better off to remove the throttle body, where the opposite side of the EGR port can be cleaned too (plus the pieces of carbon etc can be removed instead of sucked thru the engine).

yeah, i can tell her that part, I just don't know how comfortable she is without photos.

Anyone???

When she removes the TB, she can see where it's clogged. It really isn't that hard..
