fleetwoodguy79
Ok, now I think I have a problem... I've got the DOHC torn down to the block, and the heads are in the machine shop. Now I'm getting ready to load up the block to get done also, but its gonna take about 3 weeks. I really don't think I'm gonna remember how all this goes back together, especially since I didn't even take the motor out of the car, I got it from Travis here on the forums. So if anyone has any diagrams, wiring or mechanical that you could send me, I would forever be in your debt!! please let me know if any of you have anything! Thanks! Slade901
Someone should have info on what you are needing.. but in the meantime.. make sure you replace your timing belt or timing chain (on some older cars) everytime the head is resurfaced. fleetwoodguy79
Yeah I was already gonna do the belt and chain, but also, does anyone know if they make a double-roller chain for the DOHC?
nerfbars
You should buy a repair manual for your car. They can be helpful for projects like that.
fleetwoodguy79
Who makes a good manual for that motor? I have a Haynes, but it really isn't much help a lot of the time...
Slade901
Get the Dealer Service Manual instead. Haynes and others are just tidbits of the thicker and complete Dealer Service Manual. Check Ebay for good deals first.
patgizz
definitely look to ebay for a good deal, and get the factory manual.
