chadz34
Do a 1996 Blazer and a 1996 Lumina have the same MAF on them, they looked the same and plugged in with no probs, I have a 96' Blazer polished and bored MAF on the Lumina now. This isnt gonna cause any probs it it?
Andrew
they are the same exact MAF, so you are OK.

z34Phoenix
polishing wont make much diff but porting it will make the calibration files stored in the PCM useless. the more you port it the worse it will get. the dangerous thing is porting allows more air then the sensor indicates... this means you will be causing an over lean condition..... very bad.
