Catastrophic damage

Don't even ask how it happened-- pure stupidity. I was thinking of either epoxying it back together or JB Weld. Any suggestions? Seems to be a good amount of surface area to grab and it is a porous surface so I'm thinking either one will adhere nicely.

DAMN! looks like the part needs replacing, or find someone who welds... except I'm not sue but that that part is diecast metal and can't be welded.

 

 

that is very hard to see. Maybe you should pull the tub panel for a better view?

You need a new top frame, likely. There's a lot of stress on that area and it will just break again if you try to epoxy it.
