mediabandit Posted July 22, 2007 Report Posted July 22, 2007 Overpriced comes to mind. i'd have to agree. Quote
Pontiac6KSTEAWD Posted July 22, 2007 Report Posted July 22, 2007 Well, let me rephrase that, way overpriced. I looked at one yesterday for 3800 bucks. It had the factory SLP stage 1 kit. Quote
ManicMechanic Posted July 22, 2007 Report Posted July 22, 2007 Quite overpriced...I've seen several 1998+ Regal GSs with less miles for less than that. There was even a GSX near here (Texas) that had 100,000 for $4500. Quote
Black90Euro Posted July 22, 2007 Author Report Posted July 22, 2007 I thought so too ... the old Lumina is a money pit, just spent another $450 for motor and trans mounts and torq struts ..... I would love a GSX but none to be found around here. That seems to be the going price for them in my neck of the woods. blue book says that's right ... what would be a fair price for that in your opinions ? Mark Quote
Pontiac6KSTEAWD Posted July 22, 2007 Report Posted July 22, 2007 Look outside of your area if you have that type of cash. Find something else, and get it shipped in. Save yourself some 5000 bucks, and use the money for mods!!!! Quote
Pontiac6KSTEAWD Posted July 22, 2007 Report Posted July 22, 2007 Example one. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Buick-Regal-GS-01-Buick-Regal-GS-Grand-Sport-Supercharged-240-HP-Fast_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6141QQihZ018QQitemZ280133847036QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW Example two. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Buick-Regal-GS-SUPERCHARGED-GS-EXCELLENT-CONDITION_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6141QQihZ015QQitemZ250143494371QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW Example Three, which I love. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/99-Buick-Regal-GSE-Htd-Seat-Sunroof-Leather-Custom-Rims_W0QQitemZ130136014932QQihZ003QQcategoryZ6141QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem There were more. Craiglist, more on ebay, cars.com, etc. Quote
Black90Euro Posted July 22, 2007 Author Report Posted July 22, 2007 yeah that 3rd one is NICE! .. Texas , is a long way off Quote
Pontiac6KSTEAWD Posted July 22, 2007 Report Posted July 22, 2007 Shipping man. Cost you about 500-700 bucks to ship it. Quote
Black90Euro Posted July 22, 2007 Author Report Posted July 22, 2007 yeah ... but it's like buying a pig in a poke , not sure if it's as nice as it seems .... Quote
Pontiac6KSTEAWD Posted July 22, 2007 Report Posted July 22, 2007 True. But if you save 5000 bucks off buying it locally, you can get it into shape reasonably, plus, if used properly, ebay has the buyer protection thing. Quote
Black90Euro Posted July 22, 2007 Author Report Posted July 22, 2007 yeah I guess ... I'll keep an eye on it ... thanks for the info ... gotta go , Thanks again, Mark .... Quote
Euro Posted July 22, 2007 Report Posted July 22, 2007 That is overpriced...however that's what they go for for that type of mileage around here as well. Another reason why I bought a GP over a GS. Quote
Black90Euro Posted July 23, 2007 Author Report Posted July 23, 2007 I'd pass. besides your lumina's pimp! Thanks... Drove a 2000 GS today .... nice Quote

Black90Euro Posted July 28, 2007 Author Report Posted July 28, 2007 well I can't seem to get my boss @ Lowe's to hire me full time as I was promised oh -- 5 1/2 months ago ... and with current lack of hours, it's all a moot point for now Thanks for the input .... however if it's still for sale (when I go full time) I will get it after a price reduction ....
