Hi everyone...my last set of tires worn out rather quickly because after several months i finally noticed the steering rack bolts were loose and the rack was rattling back and forth ruining the tires.

Today, i picked up 4 goodyear integrity's at sam's club (yeah the cheapest ones they had I'm grime like that :/) the thing is I don't have much money and I want to know if i absolutely need to also spend the $75 to re-align my wheels? The last time I had an alignment was about a year ago when I got the last pair of tires and since then the car seems to drive fairly straight (with a tiny pull to the right but I think that's road slant). What do you guys think?

if your alignment was fine before, you dont need one now. Just 4 mounted and balanced tires....

IMO, $75 is cheaper than tires down the road. Most places around here will check the alignment before charging you.

Michigan roads sucks, so I recommend getting alignment once a year around here.

Did you ever have everything aligned once you fixed your steering rack, etc??

I'd recommend getting it aligned just for piece of mind. IIRC alignments don't cost $75 around here..and that's up in Canada too..shop around - find a reputable place that does good work and won't stick it to ya in the process. I use a local autobody shop to be honest..$50 even (CDN)

Damn, where do you get them done at, a dealership? Around here $50-65 is the usual price.

Yeah I went to the olds dealer to have it done. Its the only olds dealer around here, and they do great work so I cant complain tooo much. I mean this was the same dealer that installed my springs and lower spring seats for $180...
