ns87
Tomrrow morning I will replace my Ancient if not original o2 sensor bc I'm taking a long trip. I didn't want to wait on ordering another brand, all my autoparts stores only had Bosch, and the dealer was closed on Sunday when I had time to purchase. I know I've heard not so great things about them, but it can't be worse than what I have currently right????
Stevo
Meh just be lucky your not putting bosch plugs in an LQ1 ... scorch city. You should be ok.

Pontiac6KSTEAWD
I usually have a fail rate of about 1 year on bosch O2 sensors. Dont know why. If I buy Delco, or Delphi, I dont have problems for awhile.
Brian P
they suck, they react slow, and when I tried one, the engine ran rough when in closed loop. Good enough for a downstream sensor to check on the catalyst, but even then sometimes you'll get a code.
1990lumina
I had a Bosch O2 sensor in my Lumina for the last couple months before I stopped driving it and had no problems.

ns87
It went very EASILY. Just started up the car for a bit, sensor came right out. Between sensor and trans filter/fluid, I went from my usual 21mpg to 24mpg one way and 27mpg on the way back. 300 miles each way. Go olds! Andrew
i bet most of that increase is from replacing the 02.
ns87
i bet most of that increase is from replacing the 02. Yeah it definitely runs less rich!

And good to hear the car is running better! Just make sure she doesnt run too lean!

per0781
over at ls1tech bosch 13111 are what the majority use for long tube headers. weird. perhaps bringing the car to a tuner to adjust the switch delay?
