lolumz34 Posted June 28, 2003 Report Posted June 28, 2003 I want to get the cobalt series of auto meter gauges. I am going to undergo a huge project. And I notice that the oil pressure gauge is PSI I'm just wondering what I would expect to see on that gauge if I were to hook it up. My current gauge is kPa... Anyone enlighten me? Quote
brian89gp Posted June 28, 2003 Report Posted June 28, 2003 kpa * .14504 = absolute psi 101.3 kpa = 14.7 psi (atmospheric pressure) Quote
Slade901 Posted June 28, 2003 Report Posted June 28, 2003 pound-force/square inch (PSI) = 6.8947573 kilopascal Quote
lolumz34 Posted June 28, 2003 Author Report Posted June 28, 2003 Now ...will the PSI gauge work off the existing wires and sensors. Or will I have get get all new stuff Quote
brian89gp Posted June 28, 2003 Report Posted June 28, 2003 Depends on what resistance/scale it uses. Quote
