1979lee Posted June 27, 2007 Report Share Posted June 27, 2007 well it looks like my rack boot is leaking p/s fluid at least i think its p/s fluid, it does use a litttle.. . . its a chevy lumina 3.1 with 105k on it, runs and drives good a/c sucks at the stoplight and when not moveing(hot weather only) but besides that good car the first pic is from the drivers side and obviously very wet with fluid in this area pic 2 is the passengerside that is normal has anyone had this problem ? whats the fix? thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Euro Posted June 27, 2007 Report Share Posted June 27, 2007 I'm not really sure about this area of the cars, but is the boot leaking itself? It looks like it's leaking right where the boot meets the shaft. I'm not sure if you'll have to replace the boot, or the whole shaft.
