PCGUY112887
OK well I gots myself a problem here (aside from the gasket piece in my oil ) See about the middle of this page, where I show the picture of the manifold under the w-body dogbone mount brace. http://60degreev6.com/showthread.php?t=36647&page=18 Basically the problem is that the S&S headers do NOT fit under that mount. I am trying to not have to get rid of the mount either, since driving a high HP engine without it seems like a bad idea (even if I got the solid mount like mentioned in the above linked topic). I was hoping maybe someone here would have any thoughts on this. I would like to fab something so I could still use my mount, but I will need some help. Thanks to all who take the time to read through this stuff to figure out what I am talking about. Quick version - S&S headers don't fit under mounting brace, any ideas? Brian P
Cut the bracket. I've seen it done, and for this application it's necessary.
