stockgp Posted June 25, 2007 Report Posted June 25, 2007 mods, i didn't post this in the group buy section because there is no group buy yet. i want to see how many people are interested before i waste my time. so, there's a local welding and fab shop that fixed a crack in my intermediate shaft bracket. just on a whim, i asked how much it would be to have him make some out of 1/8" steel. i'm being told 50 bucks, and overnight turnaround. so, given that, is anyone interested? i'd be willing to volunteer my bracket for a template. i'll charge no middle man fees. i think all iw ould need is a buck or two to buy some boxes to ship them in. slick Posted June 25, 2007 Report Posted June 25, 2007 This is a great idea. With all the posts about people needing these, I think you will find several people interested. Got any pics of there work? Quote
stockgp Posted June 25, 2007 Author Report Posted June 25, 2007 yeah, that's what i figured. um, i odn't have any pics of their work. today was the first time i've been in there. Quote
Grand Moff Joseph Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 Sorry for the n00b question, but what/where is shis bracket, and what does it do? Which cars does it apply to? Quote
White93z34 Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 It is for manual transmission cars, it holds the intermediate shaft to the engine. I'd be interested, but $50 is more then i am willing to pay for that piece I am 90% sure the 282 and 284 brackets are the same. I'll have to take a picture of mine. Quote
