red95cutlass
I have a 96 cutlass supreme coupe and here is the problem I have. press brake -> all three lights come on (left, right and center) left turn signal turned on -> works fine left turn signal turned on and press the brake and the right tail light turns off. The same happens the other side when the turn signal is set to the right. Center light stays on correctly. Hazzards work fine when the headlights are on they are correctly lit. Any thoughts? rakooon
Idk too much bout the 94+ models...but my guess would be the turn signal switch...
bleearg
Is there any trailer wiring in the trunk? If so remove it.
red95cutlass
Nope. Never had a trailer or wiring.

kuwaitliberation
My buddy has a Mazda 626. He would turn the lights on and his brake lights would be on. His cruise control didn't work when he had his lights on because the brake lights were engaged. Came out to be one of the bulbs had shorted the two filaments from the brake light to the driving light that are in the same bulb. This is something to check, also. It's a lot easier to see if all the bulbs are good first.
shyguy164
Definitely the turn signal switch, unless the filaments are shorted or something like was previously mentioned.
DiscoStudd
Try and wiggle the signal stalk (in all directions) and see if it goes back to normal. If it does, then your signal switch is definitely FUBAR. http://tss.likeabigdog.com will set you in the right direction...
