LuminaMan93
When I make right hand turns my car makes this rattling or clicking noise. It doesn't make the noise when I turn right or when I put it in reverse. I took it to two different mechanics to see what is wrong. The first place couldn't figure out what is making the noise :?: The second place said it is something in the transmission. The noise is coming from the middle of the car in the front, not the sides of the car. So i took it to a transmission specialist and he said he never heard anything like it. He dropped the transmission pan and checked and couldn't see anything broken or out of place. I don't think it is the transmission because, the transmission doesn't know if your making a turn or not. I have no idea what else it could be. Any suggestions?
Baddflash
I think it would be the driveshaft but possibly something else. When you say no noise in reverse does that mean with wheel turned the same way. How does speed affect it? If you go real slow does the noise go away? Does the degree of turn make any difference?? LuminaMan93
It makes no noise in reverse no matter what way the wheel is turned. Speed really doesn't affect it if I make the turn slow or fast. The degree of the turn makes a difference. If I am going straight and I slightly turn the wheel to the right it makes the noise very softly. When I make a fight turn it is loud and makes the noise all the way through the turn. The Burning Rom
Sounds like a power steering problem to me.
