grandprix104
Im looking at getting a semi-cheap exaust setup with a flowmaster muffler, hollowed-out cat (they never check emmissions here), and a nice chrome tip anyway I wanted to know if the Flowmasters were decent mufflers (i can get them really cheap $100 apiece) also what is the pipe size on the 94 pree's? All in total I cannot afford more than $200 for the system. Any better ideas? Eventually I will be adding another muffler & tip but thats when i get rich Thanks

grandprix104
I want a low rumble and not toooo loud. When I floor it or rev it up i want it to roar but i dont want it to be as loud as a freakin deisle everytime I stop at a light.
slick
$100?!?! I've seen better prices than that for a Flowmaster muffler. If your gonna spend the time to hollow out the cat, just straight pipe it.
god910
$100?!?! I've seen better prices than that for a Flowmaster muffler. If your gonna spend the time to hollow out the cat, just straight pipe it. W/ flowmasters the quieter it gets the cheaper they are. I want to hear one of the 60 Series delta flows on a w-body engine. They are designed for small disp. 4's & 6's. I would (and did) definately get rid of the cat. I am running katless and stock 140,000 mile muffler, sounds good. IF I could hear it over my CAI. mfewtrail
you can get a 40 series(original) muffler for $60, and some online vendors/companies offer free ground shipping. Check out http://www.pro-max.com , http://www.summitracing.com, http://www.jegs.com, http://www.bigexhaust.com , and others and you'll find the best price, local places jack up prices a good bit. Also, did you guys all know that flowmaster now makes stainless steel mufflers........pro-max has them for sell already along w/ a few local places close to me. 8)
90TGPGirl
I have dual 40 series Flowmasters and I love 'em! Very nice rumble at idle, and thru the low RPM's. When cruising, the sound is still VERY nice, but more mellowed out.
