Reducing KR (Headers? FWI?)

You have the 180* thermo, but are your fans programmed to keep the temp at 180*? Also, with that 140* intake temps, the KR sounds about right. I have the 160* thermostat, but mt fans keep the engine @ 165* at all times and my intake temp never goes over 20* over the ambient. Insulating the crap out of your intake does the job(all this on my GTP, not the AC chilled cutlass :smile: where I used to run 16PSI boost on a S1X with 0KR)

The DHP PCM *should* turn the fans on ~186*, so it should be tuned for the 180* t-stat. I'm pretty sure even just changing the plugs out and doing a FWI will help a lot. I'm awaiting a present from the UPS man next week :biggrin:
