Rear Brakes.

I need to know all the tools necassery to remove the rear calipers on my Cutlass. Completly replacing both of them.. pads and all.

caliper brackets or no? You need a 12mm wrench for the one bolt, and I believe its another 12mm bolt for the bracket for the e-brake cable. Other than that maybe a screwdriver to get thepads on/off.

My right rear caliper siezed. I am replacing the caliper, the bracket is staying. Just need to know all the tools I will need to do this.

12? I thought it was 13. Yea, and the bleeder 10 mm needs to be a wrench. A socket won't work for that if you do it right with the 3/8 inch clear plastic hose on the end of the bleeder and clear glass jar. I have a self-bleeding kit that I use for mine. I am usually completely alone when it comes to doing stuff like this, so I have to make due with what I got.

maybe it was a 13mm Im not sure, its on the same closed end wrench anyways. and x2 on the plastic tube on the bleeder. Keeps things nice and clean

Matt... it's super easy to do. Just go and look. Like 4 bolts total, plus the actual brake line itself. You will have to rebleed the entire brake system afterwards.

 

IIRC, it's 13mm, but I could be wrong. It could be 12mm as Jay listed above. And, that self bleeder kit does help a ton!
