NVMY03GT
Got a question concerning AC. When I shut off the car is it supposed to be making a hissing noise? Right now when I shut her down I hear this SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS Like air is escaping. Only when the air is on though. Thoughts? NVMY03GT
Your condenser dripping? Are you asking me if its dripping or are you saying the noise is normal because of this factor?
Pontiac6KSTEAWD
The sound is perfectly normal. In your AC system, you have a HIGH and LOW side. When you shut off your car, the compressed gas has to equalize, and as it goes thru the acumator, or the orifice, it will make a sound that can easily be heard. Quite normal..
