Crazy K
i do not believe the coil upgrade would be worth doing. the GM OEM coils are very good. is there anything wrong with the car, or is it running fine right now? have you tried a high quality K&N filter? Crazy K
replace all your sparkplugs. use acdelco sparkplugs, NOT Bosch sparkplugs.
Pontiac6KSTEAWD
replace all your sparkplugs. use acdelco sparkplugs, NOT Bosch sparkplugs. What he said, and also replace your wires while your at it. If you havent replaced you wires in that long, when you pop them off the plug, the insert will probly break off.. SleeperRed90TGp
Sounds like you have done everything. I would guess you have wires crossed. Bout the only way to make it backfire through the intake unless its leaned out. Jud

Pontiac6KSTEAWD
Only problem is, the AC Delco #8's that are good, are nearly imposible to find.. I recomend the AC Delco plug. I like NGK, but speaking from mechanical standpoint, if you dont do tune ups regularly, the NGK have been known to get stuck in the cylinder head. This is why I recomend the AC Delco.. IRONDOG442
I have nothing else to say.... but if you must know you are asking for help on an ENGLISH speaking forum... so try to "give a fuck" as you put it to convey your questions accurately. so do me and the rest of the forum here a favor and try your hardest to at least give a remotely accurate idea of what you are asking and when someone offers you advice or the solution to your problem, recognize the fact they provided you an answer and dont ask the same question again... Nice try to cover up in French Canadian slang in hopes I cannot translate it, unfourtanately unlike yourself, I don't need a translator. Good luck with the plugs!!! In regards to the phone number I am not lonely as you put it, I have a wife who is also from Quebec, but the number... it's the institute in Montreal to learn English, I made a mistake and assumed you were from Montreal. Guest JuniorBaconChee
Honestly not trying to derail the thread here...so what is the diff between the #6 and #8's? When I looked for mine it said #6's.
DOHCRagtopguy
I believe that is the heat range. Lower the number, colder the plug. Feel free to correct if I am wrong.
IRONDOG442
As an attempt to remedy to my husband's pretentious attempt to mock RedGTP, you should all know that, by being born in a French speaking family in the province of Quebec, RedGTP had no right to attend any English school, as prescribed by the law established by their beloved French Separatist government. In order to prevent anybody from learning another language, the English lessons he received in a mandatory French school were given by French-speaking teachers. To make matter worse, English is not really studied until around 11th grade. Furthermore, you should be aware that RedGTP would have more chance to establish human contacts with English-speaking people in Paris, France than he had ever had in Quebec City, as this town is solely populated by French-Speaking people. The province of Quebec is kept in the shadow of ignorance and in terror of the English-speaking North America. It is also kept in poverty. Which means that traveling for a long period of time in order to learn English is very difficult. I salute RedGTP for his brave attempt to communicate on an English forum and I condemn my husband for his blissful ignorance and find his quest for illustriousness at RedGTP’s cost deplorable.
