synistershadows Posted May 20, 2007 Report Posted May 20, 2007 alright well i'v been looking around and i was wondering what would be the widest rim that i would be able to put on my 92 cutty while still keeping the same turning radius without rubbing???? Quote
slick Posted May 20, 2007 Report Posted May 20, 2007 Not necessarily the width of the rim, but keeping the correct aspect ratio of the tire. Also, anything over 8" on these cars is gonna be pointless. Really, anything over 7" is, considering the minimal amount of power they make. Quote
Matts97cutty89 Posted May 21, 2007 Report Posted May 21, 2007 I have 20 inch rims by 8.5 on my car and have no problems turning.....like he said it doesnt really matter the witdh if you get the right offset.....by the way i had to go 8.5 inches wide cause the rim is so big. Quote
