Dirty Rockstar
I have this can of Carb+Choke cleaner, and an EGR I got from the Junkyard for free. Will using this Carb+Choke cleaner hurt the EGR any? If it will, I just won't use it! Thanks guys

Dirty Rockstar
Awesome. I know there are a few threads about this, but I wanted certainty before I used it.
Pontiac6KSTEAWD
Just spray liberally, and scrub with a steel/copper headed toothbrush..
slick
Yep, do as said above. No harm done. And, while your at is, spray the carb cleaner into the ports where the gases run from the egr to the intake. I guarantee there is some carbon buildup in there. If your going to do this, get a clothes hanger, cut it, and bend it straight and use these to aid in this process.
