L67LuminaEuro
Hey all where are the sites that pertain to the 4.9 like Fiero Addiction. I want to learn more and more about this sway so i can make the swap easier. Like what mods are needed for the added weight of the V8? I plan on making the suff myself like the AC Lines, Mounts and whatever may be needed. Help me V8 Guys. For now I'm driving the anemc 3.1. 94CutlassSLCoupe
don't get me wrong, but I think the L67 is a much better swap for your car...its also much more well known
L67LuminaEuro
Yea i love that idea too. Basically its whatever i get my hands on first. But too have a Lumina sound like my '68 Impala 396 would be awesome. Thats another project thats taking my time so the Lumina isn't a concern YET. Dollar for dollar the 3.8 is more money and the 4.9 has a way better tone. I got it i'll buy two Luminas and convert them, one a 3.8 and a 4.9. Your opionions? J
L67 would be cheaper than the 4.9 and much more performance! Or you can get your hands on a new caddy STS 3.5 (3.6?) 300 hp V6

GnatGoSplat
Iron heads clamping wet-sleeve cylinders into an aluminum block doesn't ever sound like a great idea to me...
digitaloutsider
The 4.9 is an underpowered POS. The L67 is a FAR FAR FAR better choice in terms of ease of installation and maximum performance capabilities.
