alright heres my problem i have NO rear signal lights at all!

I have the tail lights and brake lights

the front signals work both left right and hazzards all work on the front but nothing on the back

I have already replaced the signal switch and replaced all the bulbs on the car and checked all the fuses and grounds.

im at a loss i have no clue whats wrong i was looking at the conector in the trunk of my car (right hand side by the antenna) where the fuse is. and it seems theres a yellow wire eathier cut or broken off but i cant find where it connects up to?

could that be my problem?

Sounds like a wiring issue to me, but it's wierd both sides aren't working.

I don't want to confuse myself, but that yellow wire doesn't have anything to do with the keyless entry box?? (The ground wire to make it learn new remotes)??

I think that its the brake light switch that gone bad. I cant remember if it goes from the turn signal wiring to the brake wiring, or the brake wiring to the turn signal wiring. I cant remember off the top of my head. Maybe someone else can chime in.

i dont think its the keyless entry thing cuz i dont have keyless entry. i know that they could have come with it but i just dont have it. plus its like right by the radio antenna just behind the right rear taillight. and i know that the fuse there works with the lights cuz i took it out and on side of my lights didnt light up when i steped on the brakes with the fuse out. but i just dont know where that wire goes

I really don't think that's a factory connection/fuse holder..but I could be wrong.

my break lights work though along with my tail lights?

Posted

They may work, but one of them has to interupt the other for the function to work. So that leads me to believe that the Brake light switch has gone out, or, the wiring in the column for the turn signal is bad..

in the pic i took is where it switches over i think due to the fact that when i took out the fuse thats there one of my brake lights worked and one didn't so i dunno if that could be where the problem is or not?? like i said theres that one wire that looks cut or broken but i cant find where it goes to?
