EFFENDI Posted August 16, 2007 Report Posted August 16, 2007 mine looks like a bottle of used oil..... was undersprayed every year before i bought it..... the engine compartment is sooo dirty.... everything you touch makes your hands look like a mechanic that just finished a day of work.... but its the only thing that made my car survive this long i'm sure.. winters in southwestern ontario are pretty harsh on vehicles.. gpchris Posted August 16, 2007 Report Posted August 16, 2007 Engine changed a little bit in the last few months.. Then: Now: Quote
ZoomZoomFan Posted August 17, 2007 Report Posted August 17, 2007 Picture a 3400, with 8 years of dirt and stuff. That'd be my engine. Quote
mediabandit Posted August 18, 2007 Report Posted August 18, 2007 nothing special did dohcv6 make that intake for you? if so how was it to put in? notice any improvement? i am just waiting to get mine from him, hopefully it will be here soon. Quote
synistershadows Posted August 18, 2007 Report Posted August 18, 2007 where you move your washer bottle to? Quote
birdman Posted August 18, 2007 Report Posted August 18, 2007 yes its from dohc v6, and it wasnt horrible to put on but not exactly easy. the washer bottle is now located in the garage and i had to remove the horns also. im sure it would fit without taking out both horns but i just removed them both anyways. and i did notice a difference, not a huge one but youll never get much out of a cai. Its worth the money IMO. Quote
pwmin Posted August 18, 2007 Report Posted August 18, 2007 i just relocated my horns. i forget how right now. you can get a 4th gen f-body reservoir and mount it up front Quote
mediabandit Posted August 19, 2007 Report Posted August 19, 2007 cool, well hopefully mine will be here this coming week.so i will be able to get it in next weekend. Quote
pwmin Posted August 19, 2007 Report Posted August 19, 2007 heres my pics: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v476/pwmin/96%20Grand%20Prix/FWI/ i didnt do the nicest job w/ cutting out the fender support, , but it shows where i relocated everything. Quote
RocknSS04 Posted August 23, 2007 Report Posted August 23, 2007 :cool:I'm pretty happy with mine. Got a couple of things left, like the graphics on the K&N Intake Lexan cover. Can't do much to the engine until the warranty runs out, about 42,000mi from now. I got just over 55,000mi on him. Quote
88Regal Limited Posted August 23, 2007 Report Posted August 23, 2007 What does your engine look like? Shit. I cleaned and painted the rusting shit since last thread. Now I should polish the plenum or something. Quote
