Pontiac6KSTEAWD
Dont do it. you will most likely die, no I am not just messing with you. Find the rims that are sized for your car, or dont do it at all. Nuff said.
J
I can't believe what i am reading, don't be a fucking moron. Drill the holes bigger? While your at it take of the top 1/2 of your car for the summer and drill holes in the windshield for better speed............. GP1138
Think about this dude. You're talking about the parts of the car that: A) The entire weight of the car rests on Spin at very high speeds C) when turning, two of them have lots more force than just spinning on them D) Absorb a lot of the vibration associated with driving Among much more than just those.... if one of those comes off, which is highly possible, you could be going 10mph pulling into a gas station parking lot, and worst case scenario you fuck up your suspension/underbody/strut assembly. But what if, feeling so cool that you jigger-rigged these cool new wheels, you decide you can spare ten minutes to run your 2.8 up to 80+MPH on the highway and THEN one of those rims decides it doesn't want to be a part of the group anymore? You risk severe damage and injury, at the very least. Wheels are one of the few things I wouldn't ever half-ass rig on a car. And you're talking to the person that at 18 C-clamped a brake line because he couldn't get the rear caliper bolts off to replace a rotor. FordBoy
i only asked because it didnt seem like a big gap. Think about this dude. Crazy K
it would take a hell of alot more than that. you'd requires different axles, different brakes, and total re-engineering of the car.
SLAMDIT
would it work/be safe if i drilled the holes a little bigger? i really want these thing on the car. If anything get some wheel adapters. You can get a good set of billet adapters for around 100 bux. Providing this doesn't screw up the offset this would make your wheels work. Drilling out the wheels would be a bad idea for a number of reasons. 100 to 115 isn't a big difference but it is big enough. I have taken a set of 114 wheels and barely got them on to a 115 bolt pattern and even that was pushing it. -Sean
