I need a shopping list for the front suspension. full rebuild.

http://www.tirerack.com/suspension/Susptabl.jsp?autoMake=Pontiac&autoModel=Grand+Prix&autoYear=1990&autoModClar=&brand=all

2 KYB GR2s

2 strut boots

I'm a little unclear on the mount selection (one says bearing only?) Do I need two of the heavy duty mounts, then 2 of the bearing only pieces?

Also, were's the best/cheapest place to get hubs? I don't know how much of that ebay garbage I trust.

You dont need the heavy duty mounts. They are more expensive. Just get the normal mounts, as they will serve you fine. You will need two mounts, and youll need two bearings. If at all possible, try to get the bearing with the isolator, its a better deal, but when your shopping for the front end stuff, youll need two of everything, as they are not sold in pairs.

thanks. I just want someone else to chime in to see if I understand their listing correctly though.

Under where it says "KYB Strut & Shock Mount," I'd need:

2 of "Front Fitment

Note: Front Fitment Only." @ $24 ea

AND 2 of "Front Fitment

Note: Front strut bearing only." @ $31 ea

correct?

Tony, that's correct.

FWIW, you can get Monroe strut bearing plates from Rockauto.com for $32/each that include new boots. They also list AC Delco brand strut mounts for $15/each(they're listed as "right hand," but work on either side as both of them are exactly the same). Check the 60*V6 off-topic section for a 5% discount code from Rockauto.com also...
