5speedz34
For those who said not changing the O2. Matt has never done it. Matt call Napa and tell them you want a Delco O2 sensor, if you want I can talk to Joe tomorrow. It shouldn't be more than $50 bucks. I've heard good and bad things about aftermarket O2's. I'll get prices for you. Get the codes scanned.
shyguy164
Are you getting any kind of codes or anything? Im sorry but it just seems like people here are making random guesses as to what could be wrong. Before you go out and spend money that you prolly didnt need to, investigate the problem, and try to find out what it is. Otherwise your wasting your money on things that worked in the first place. Yeah, I like this idea better. Spend a few hours trying to figure out what's wrong. Or instead of wasting your time, go spend $30 to $50 and put in a new oxygen sensor. 19Cutlass94, go re-read my first post in this thread. I said something like "from my experience" and then I go on to talk about idling problems in 2 separate cars/engines. I go on to say how the problems went away after simply changing the oxygen sensor. I'm not making random guesses about anything. I can't say for sure that's what's wrong with this guy's car, but what I can say for sure is the fact that I had very similar problems to his and mine went away with a new o2. And even if a new o2 doesn't fix the problem, who cares? At least you ruled that out as a problem. It's not like an oxygen sensor is an expensive part or anything. Christ, it's almost cheaper than a tank of gas!
