pm stockgp and he should have them. I have them but i do not know exactly where they are at the moment. I did that with my 94 cutty last year. I went from the needle gauge to the UB3.

http://www.w-body.com/index2.html

click on upgrades (on the left)

then instrument cluster upgrade

that will show you how to re-pin the connector. Use a manual because some of the wires were wrong on the writeup when I did mine.

thanx guys and i already knew about that instument cluster page but thats for the base digital dash to the UB3 cluster is not the same as the needle tach

alright guys well i got it in but my tach doesnt work everything else seems to work fine but when i was repinning it i noticed when i was done i had 2 wires on both ends of the adapters i got that wernt used (i went to a junk yard and pulled a UB3 plug and just matched the wires but on my original pulg i have a light green and black wire and a darker kinda dirt brown wire while on my UB3 plug i have an orange wire and a light blue wire does anyone know where these 2 wires are supposed to go ??? (remember i had the guage with tach cluster originally)

any help would be appretiated

The tach wire goes to the orange wire by the code reader port. I dont remember its technical name.....its where you'd get error codes below the dash near your knees

Oh and just so you know, your style gauges (needle) and the base digital have the exact same wiring except the tach. I upgraded to your style gauges from base digital

good luck!

I believe the light blue is the English/Metric switch for the DIS. And you need to run a wire from the ALDL diagnostic port up to the dash.

wait what is the same as the ub3. Mine had to be completely repinned. i went from the standard cluster to ub3 ad i was told none are the same

The instructions for base digital to UB3 apply for his needle style to UB3. Needle style same wiring as base digital. sorry I wasn't clear

Also does anyone KNOW where to find the senders??

Autozone, for both senders. I thought you had gauges though?

just a question. When i did the swap in my 94 cutty i had to change the oil sender but the coolant sender i did not. It seems to work fine like it always has? just curious if i was supposed to change it. there is a considerable difference in the oil sender and the dummy oil sensor. I got mine out of a 95 pontiac GA 3100 v6,. It has to be the cluster with the oil gauge to have the real sender though

It's actually a switch, not a sender. It triggers the dummy light at one certain pressure instead of sending data to run a gauge. If it's short and stubby, it's a switch, if it's longer ( about 4 inches) it's a sender. I've heard that after '92-'93 they put in a switch that only gave out three readings for the gauge.

I did have the analog guages before but i now have the digital UB3 in and i honestly dont know if the 2 are working or not ????

and does anyone have an idea of what thoes 4 wires that i had remaing are for and could one of my older ones ( the green white or the dirt brown) already run down to my ALDL since i had the guages with the tach in before??

ok well i still have to get my Tach on the UB3 working i know that you have to wire it up to that plug where you get the codes from the ALDL thing anyways does anyone know where i could get the proper wire and if so which kind of wire should i use and how to wire it into that plug??

you don't have to wire it into the plug, nor do you have to use certain wire, just splice it properly. In fact, I believe I was in such a hurry that I used home stereo speaker wire  still works perfectly.

Use a metal coathanger if you want. (not really, but it *would* work)

ok well even if i do splice it in should there be any particilar wire i should splice it to or does it not matter really?
