The Burning Rom Posted June 22, 2003 Report Posted June 22, 2003 Yes, the dogbones are the same. The engines are pretty much the same. The 3.1 is just a stroked out version of the 2.8..because the 2.8 lacked power and torque. Quote

When nobody is looking of course. :shock: Honestly, the 3.1L was the updated version of the 2.8L, but I loved the 2.8L in my old Beretta. Even though the horsepower wasn't the best, the torque curve made up for that. - Erik Quote
