there should be a small pic on the car by the rad. behind headlightstoward middle (not sure how to explain where it is) what exploded the belt or a pump?

It was actually the belt that exploded. I was driving home from the pub, and started hearing a metal fapping noise. I'm like "WTF is wrong with this POS now? I just spent $300 on a starter change 3 days ago." I stopped to see what it was and couldn't figure it out, (its still dark out at 3am). I thought it was some metal piece flapping on the tire inside the wheel well, as if the inner fender got loose, (happened in the firefly). I got back in the car, and noticed my temp guage was red lined (oh fuck, I'm outta coolant, and blew the motor), then my power steering went out (WTF? I'm really screwed now), So I limp the car home and leave it on the street.

Dad and I go out to see the car at 7:30am to find out what went wrong, and Dad notices the belt is missing off the P.S pulley. We both look under the car and see strands of the belt (what's left of it) wrapped around the front axle, and caught around a couple of other pulleys.

I figured "ok, thank god, its only a belt change, we can leave it for now, I'll go back to bed, and take the Firefly to work, and Jim (my brother) can fix it when he gets a chance." Well, Dad ended up working on the car changing the belt, while I slept until 11:30am.
