shyguy164
I'm assuming plenty of people have done them before, so I'm looking for pointers. 95 convertible with the 3.4L DOHC. Is it easier to attack from above the engine or below? Any secrets/tips to doing it any easier?
1990lumina
Does this car have the one, or two sensors?? If it's the one sensor (one the rear manifold), do it from the top IMO. I was able to reach it after pulling the motor forward.

I thought my Haynes told me I couldn't do that.
kuwaitliberation
I just changed my O2 on my '92 Z34. I pulled the plenum..got in there with an O2 socket+swivel+extentions. Be prepared to go through MULTIPLE swivels. I broke 4 craftsman swivels. Must have been the original O2 sensor. Anyway, Pulling the plenum and going from the top is way easy. Hardest part is breaking the sensor free. I will add that PB Blaster before tools is the best way to go. Blast it really good and let it sit for about 10 minutes then blast it again. Wait 20 minutes and it comes off without too many headaches. I did this on my 91 Olds 98 Regency Elite. Original O2 sensor when I changed it in 2005. I couldn't turn it at all with just tools.
