A turbocharger can be installed on nearly any motor (without a stupid kit) if you have adequate skill and plenty of time.

It will also be quite an expensive endeavor, if you want to do it correctly.

Bolting a turbo onto an old worn motor is not even going to be worth the effort, IMO.
