I am in the process of taking the Getrag 284 out of my 91 CS International, and puting it in my 96 CS. I was wondering if after I swap the firewall plate on my 96 to the 91 manual transmission plate, will the 96 booster and ABS setup bolt up to the plate, or will I have to use a setup from an older W? My 91 has PMIII and the brake pump and motor do not work. Here is the 96 setup:

you must use the 91 booster, according to what I've been told. i think you can use the 96 MC. I plan to do this exact setup in my 91 vert, using a 94 Z34 ABS M/C and booster, which is identical to what you are saying.

(only cause it does not clear the clutch cylinder stuff. you should be able to stick a 96 booster in a 91 car with auto tranny for example.)

You must take 91 brakebooster.. because if you keep the 96 brakebooster .. you have no more room to install a clutch mastercylinder ... check on page5 on my cardomain page .. ;)
