GPdriver1986 Posted June 20, 2003 Report Posted June 20, 2003 I have a stock muffler on my Grand Prix just single not dual out. I'm looking at buying either a cherry bomb muffler (32.99$CAN), or a cherrybomb turbo (39.99$CAN), or a Dynomax (124.99$CAN). Do cherry bombs sound good with the 3.1 MPFI engine? Quote
Panopticon Posted June 20, 2003 Report Posted June 20, 2003 a better question would be, do they help performance. Quote
Panopticon Posted June 20, 2003 Report Posted June 20, 2003 well than pishaw! lol i saw the flyer for both those, the cherry bomb turbo is oval and looks more stock...go for that one. Quote
GPdriver1986 Posted June 20, 2003 Author Report Posted June 20, 2003 Yeah I think the cherry bomb turbo looks cool too. Hopefully it sounds good. Quote
badprix Posted June 20, 2003 Report Posted June 20, 2003 Yes, cherry bombs help performance over the stock muffler. I gained 1/10 in the 1/8 mile! But theres a lot better mufflers. If it was up to me i wouldnt have a muffler on anything I drive. The louder the better. If it's too loud your too old! ya know that sorta thing. Quote
Panopticon Posted June 20, 2003 Report Posted June 20, 2003 lol well if ya go too far you'll start losing performance Quote
