I have so many suspension questions right now its insane.

1. Is there a way to determine which brakes are becoming problem children? I took my rear driver side wheel off because I thought that was the problem child as the tire is balding in and outside but when I spun the rotor and hit the brake it stopped fine. I did notice as I spun it I heard a little bit of dragging like as it went through the caliper. So is that the problem child? Basically situation is when I stop. I feel like Im stoping on OVALS like I can feel the wheels trying to pull me back I don't know if the front are failing or if the rear are failing, and to my understanding brakes are a bitch on these cars?

Here's a small tip: when you brake, feel for shimmy in the steering wheel. At low speeds, let go of the wheel entirely, and watch it, does it move back and forth in a pattern on it's own?

If your wheel is smooth when you brake, generally it's a rear rotor that's bad. That's what I get is the problem from what you're saying.

The wheel is all over the place when Im slowing down, worse at higher speeds. When I apply the brake at say like 60 MPH my steering wheel goes nuts. To top that off I now have a shake at 65 to 70 under normal drive. Byut Im guessing thats balancing.

Based on that info, I would say:

One of your front calipers is hanging up somewhat.

or

One of the front rotors is warped

or

one of your brake hoses is going south, cracking inside where you can't see it.

The shake you feel at 65-70 could be from any of the above and not necessarily from being out of alignment.

Hope this helps--good luck!!

If the rotors are warped enough, I'd imagine they'd cause some steering wobble by themselves just by virtue of the warpage. Replace them, and if it still wobbles some, get the wheels balanced.

LOL At your Avatar :) Peoples Eyes just keep looking to the left LOL!:)

The brakes on this car scare me to death. Im aware of the square took you have to use, but I don't know how to replace these caliper things. I know you have to take the brake lines off to do them which I think that in itself is the most intimidating. Ive never bleed brakes. I've done brakes on 2 other cars. I wouldn't consider myself and expert by any sense, but since this is the first W Body Ive done it scares the daylights out of me.

I hear the rubbing coming from the rear so that being said Im guessing its one of the rear wheels but I don't understand why Im even hearing it since 75% of your braking is done with the front wheels correct? Furthermore why isn't my brake light on?

Another way you can tell which brake is bad with a warped rotor. If you have Chrome or Alloy wheels the one with the bad rotor/locked up caliper will usually be alot dirtier if you have semi-metallic pads. If you have ceramic pads you will probably have to go by feel.
