Yay.. and the rotors are facing the right way too!

BTW, did you get those from a guy on eBay named "rotorworks?" If so, they are a quality product :thumb:. You should have went with some different pads though, brake dust will own you. I would have to recommend the Bendix CT3 ceramic pads next time around.

Be careful though because I had to put longer wheel studs on after I put the aftermarket rotors on due to the fact that the hat was thicker than OEM causing not enough of my stock studs to stick out for my aftermarket wheels.

Congrats though, you will be heavily impressed.

uhhmmmm... iparts.com http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=019&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&viewitem=&item=290088786506&rd=1,1

ive always heard good stuff about EBC green and the red said even less dust/less fade so i figured theyd be great. i would love to be impressed but i dont think i will since i only did this really to compensate for having the smaller booster now

i wanna test out this "zinc coating" n see if it actually hold up otherwise yea i woulda def painted that. hopefully it stays rust free

ahhh good call, i couldn't tell from the pic that they were coated. Mine were cadium plated in a bronze color and have held up very well over the years

Matt, EBC are top quality brakes.

Chris, I know. Still doesn't change the fact that they omit decent quantities of brake dust.

looks good...the redstuff pads are quite dusty and squeal a lil right before you get stopped...they stop AWWWSOME though...my car will lock them up if i'm not careful!

ugh my wheels are shiney and brake dust makes them not shiney. how dare they false advertise. oh well this is still a 300% imporvement over what i had before so i can stop bitching now. oh and that fucken box tool is the most worthless piece of shit ever made. ended up using giant channel locks to turn the piston back in

The box tool, if used right, is very useful. I used it on mine with no problems. Besides, I wasn't going to go the "ghetto" route and use channel locks.

if the caliper was off and fixed in a vice it wouldnt be a problem. i dont see how standing there with that thing and a ratchet in one hand and a caliper in another hand and my thumb up my ass is not ghetto. turning that a 1/2 turn a time if im lucky then having it cock a 1/64,000000000 th inch and then it slipping and stripping the grooves there. fuck that. :high5: to drum in hat (until that shit breaks)

My greenstuffs do the same thing with the squealing. I think it's because of my cheap ass rotors.

i have EBC rotors and they still do it...i think its just the compound..it doesnt really bother me much though, cause they stop awwsome!

Channel locks, WTF?

Yeah, I use the c-clamp or the tool.

The box tool is really easy to use, seriously. Never had any problems with it.

it could be designed a lot better. the grooves need to be deeper and oh maybe like a full circle instead of a cresent. those things dont turn like volume knobs theyre friggin hard. theyre not frozen and i have a brand new caliper on the one side and it was just as hard to turn

I hate the cube tool. I just stick a small block of wood over the piston and put a c-clamp on it, the wood gets dug into by the piston and the clamp and will turn the piston as you turn the clamp.

then there's always that "proper" tool that I've been meaning to buy someday

yay that means i got mine facing right lol. I put a set on last week. when the pads that cam with mine wear out i will probably get the ceramic. All though the brake dust now on it doesn't seem any worst then stock rotors with decent pads did. Now the cheap $20 pads are the freaking worse. I made the mistake of getting them one time when money was tight and my wheels looked black after only 1 day of driving.
