w-bodys_are_the_best Posted April 17, 2007 Report Posted April 17, 2007 Ok, now I have a 96 cutlass book, I found out what fuse it is. I was just wondering has anyone on here actually done this? I was looking at the underside of the cover for the pass. airbag, and it looks like there are little rubber deals holding it on that look like they are made to break and not be put back on. The airbag machanism itself is bolted in the way it looked. I'd like to know if anyone has successfully taken it off and put it back together. If you haven't already seen it, here's my original post. http://www.w-body.com/forum/index.php/topic,56397.0.html Quote
Crazy K Posted April 17, 2007 Report Posted April 17, 2007 done this maybe 200 times? simple. whats the question? LOL pull up at the rear of the cover closest to the windshield. teh push the entire cover towards the windsheild to remove. you will have four 13mm sockets on top and one single one at the bottom, visible when the glove box door is open. It may be easier to do remove with the door removed. installation is just reverse... and the bubber things can be re-used, unless you broke them while remvoeing the airbag. Quote
