Intake Air Temperaature or something like that...I didn't have mine plugged into my Lumina for the longest time...nothing different seemed to happen lol...I don't think it is a "big deal" type of sensor, but could be wrong.

I need to get a new one b/c the one i have i broke the clip that holds it in the intake, it could fall out.

Well, the "intake" that he put on didn't have a place for the IAT, so he just put it down in a "cool" area of the engine bay.

 

Wow, thats worse than Aaron!

I broke the clip on mine too. It hasn't fallen out yet....but I've noticed my car has more of a "3.1 hesitation" (split second of hesitation when gas is pressed before car warms up) when it isn't plugged in.
