This is on a 3.4 dohc. Will I have to support the engine some other way or can I just switch them?

***Edit***

I put it in but It was a little bit longer than stock. I had to push the motor back a bit to get the bolt to go through. Is that normal?

I remember when I put mine in like 3 years ago in my Lumina(I was still pretty much w-body clueless) I freaked because at first I didn't know I had to rock the engine forward to get the mounts to bolt in.....I thought they were too short, man I called Michael and everything

normally the mounts depend on how good the motor and tranny mounts are. When i did my 94 cutty i did the bottom mounts first, and when i went to do the dogbones they were already lined up  i spent about 4 hours on all mounts, and i had huge benefits, and i mean huge

i didnt notice that big of a difference when I put new mounts in (with the new engine) but it definitely stiffened it up and made everything feel crisper and more like new than worn out
