RedGTP
I don't know for now .... now it's a metal stick on a plastic hole.... may-be put a 'dress' for my knob in black leather ...
Crazy K
your use of the english language is amusing! I will never again be able to drive a manual car without thinking about the dress the shift knob is wearing!!!!!! actually it is called a boot or shift-boot. I would make a leather boot and have it fill the opening that the 94-96 center console has. VERY GOOD WORK! I would love to see your car in person! Psych0matt
awesome, glad to hear its done! and I agree with ken, your use of the language, without formal training, is great, both amusing as well as surprisingly good (and you pick words well, even if theyre funny )

I also had been to two Junkyards in 2 days with some friends, so a lot of shit got tracked in. Not how I like to keep it.. In fact, once the weather makes up it's fuckin mind, the Olds is getting 'Little Green machined"

w-bodys_are_the_best
Very nice swap, I'm still trying to find some 5 spd parts for my 96 Cutlasss so I don't have to chop up my 91 International. I have to tear the dash off of the 96 anyways because I found out there's a mouse in there that decided to tear through some wires, so it will be made into a 5-spd soon. IMO if working on a grass yard instead of a cement floored garage, blocks are probably the best choice, maybe a little heftier ones like railroad ties, but jack stands are worthless in the grass. I don't remember where, but I saw a new type of lifting system for soft ground that actually uses two plates and a really heavy duty air bag like the bigger ones on some tag axles, and you just hook it to the compressor, it fills the airbag, and speads the weight evenly throughout the bottom (it was around 1-2 ft diameter). RedGTP
yes I see it too.. but I don't remember where ..
dohc v6
How about taking a piece of wood and plating it under the jack stand. This way it will not sink into the ground. Wood is not better than jack stands any time
RedGTP
I know, but it is worse on pics, actually was very solid, if not I would not have worked on a car in this way if its would have been dangerous, I am a aware nevertheless, it is that the pics it's worst met than that is actually…
ismellrealbad
how long did it take you from start to finish? see u had the luxury of a donor car, lucky bastard. Ive been having to scrounge for parts. Im busy with work and school and i can only pick at it a cuple hours a day. so with air tools id say this will have taken me almost 3 weeks (not including the 2 weeks i was stuck after i got fucked for parts ) Bake82 to my rescue.
