looks cool! how does the metal thickness compare to the OEM ones though? The flatness of these verses the curved stamping of the stock one makes me think they may flex more

I think the OEM ones would react better in an accident as well. The OEM ones are stiff when straight, but once they get bent enough in an impact, they'll collapse easily allowing the crumple zones to work. I don't think you would get that kind of effect with a thick solid bar.

 

Looks cool though.
