digitaloutsider Posted April 11, 2007 Report Posted April 11, 2007 I really really wanted to like these, but at first glance if you're not really paying attention, they look stock. Quote

rockfangd Posted April 17, 2007 Report Posted April 17, 2007 damn i want a bar like that for my cutty. Is there a model that would match my cutty Quote
94CutlassSLCoupe Posted April 17, 2007 Report Posted April 17, 2007 looks cool! how does the metal thickness compare to the OEM ones though? The flatness of these verses the curved stamping of the stock one makes me think they may flex more Quote

GnatGoSplat Posted April 19, 2007 Report Posted April 19, 2007 looks cool! how does the metal thickness compare to the OEM ones though? The flatness of these verses the curved stamping of the stock one makes me think they may flex more I think the OEM ones would react better in an accident as well. The OEM ones are stiff when straight, but once they get bent enough in an impact, they'll collapse easily allowing the crumple zones to work. I don't think you would get that kind of effect with a thick solid bar. Looks cool though. Quote
