IRONDOG442 Posted April 10, 2007 Report Share Posted April 10, 2007 I am going to put HUD into my Intrige daily driver (the white one) I know that the 1997-2003 Grand Prix heads up units will work, One question I have is the 2000 Buick Lesabre the same unit, it looks identical but I know it doesnt have the radio station display which is fine for me cause I have an aftermarket HU in my car... If it is the same in appearance which it appears to be, will this work in my car as well... Please help me HUD FREAKS!!! Shawn Lin mainly!!! 99RegalGS Posted April 10, 2007 Report Share Posted April 10, 2007 Lesabre HUD's also don't use as many inputs to it. It gets the idiot light inputs from the class 2 datastream. Someone with a Regal GS tried putting a Lesabre Hud into his car. the unit works, but stuff that runs off of the class 2 data stream doesn't work. The PCM isn't programmed to send out the info it wants or something. But the speed, high beams, and turn signals all work. soooo, you may have the same issues as he did (no idiot lights working) EDIT: what switch are you planning to use to control the HUD?
