BCM Posted April 9, 2007 Author Report Posted April 9, 2007 ok here's what I've got so far....I dont know what to do to make it fit. Quote
Psych0matt Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 cut a hole in the hood and stick it out the top! Quote
digitaloutsider Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 Stick it on the end of the throttle body. Quote
Euro Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 cut a hole in the hood and stick it out the top! damn that's exactly what I was going to say. Would sticking it in the airbox be any good? Since the airbox is positioned kinda towards a cool air duct. Or just remove the airbox and put the filter where the box was Quote
digitaloutsider Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 That bent hose is the big restriction. Get rid of it. Quote
Pontiac6KSTEAWD Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 Take the air tube out, and the air box. You will probly have to get some connections to give the intake area an extension since you do have the IAT sensor there in the flex tubing. But other than that, that should about cover it. Quote
RJansen658 Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 Indeed. if you are gonna fabricate something, it might as well be a true cold air intake. Anything else underhood besides a drop in is pointles IMO. Quote
Andrew Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 i say contact Intense and ask them if you can order their FWI kit without the K&N. Quote
digitaloutsider Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 Honestly, with an L36.. I'd just upgrade to the 99+ airbox/F-duct and call it a day. Quote
ismellrealbad Posted April 11, 2007 Report Posted April 11, 2007 i say contact Intense and ask them if you can order their FWI kit without the K&N. agreed. maybe see if someone here wants the new k&n Quote
