john99gtp
This might be an easy request for you guys. Can someone make up a list (or have a link to one) of all the shit thats needed to pull our engines. Im going to be starting to pull this beast (hopefully tonite), and I have done it before, but, I dont remember all of it, and I want to make sure its right. So....if anyone has a step by step or something, that would be great. Also, if anyone wants to help, I'll be doing it in Epping, over the course of the week. White93z34
asumeing you know the common sense things like airbox, etc. unbolt the 3 torque converter bolts, drop the DP. bellhousing, bolts, don't forget the one PITA one on the very back. hoses, a/c compressor, fuel lines, throtle cables, dog bone mounts, the lower engine and trans mounts, starter, yanking the alternator may give you a little more wiggle room. the wiring harnases for the crank/cam sensors, and fuel rail, and coil wiring harnases. hood: optional i forget all the specifics like bolt sizes since its has been about a year since i swaped out a L67, but that should give you a decent idea of what all is involved

Crazy K
I too have seen a broken flexplate... on a 91 (or 92?) bucik regal with 3800. my friend had bought it a week earlier and called me in the middle of a snowstorm to pick him up. we pushed the car bumper tpo bumper to a rst stop and loked it over and discoverd the center of the flexplate had sheared loose from the converter.
