thanks guys. hmmmm...i wonder what i can make that will do the job. you have any problems not using the drip trays?

Posted

Not really. Just make sure the exposed electrical stuff if covered up, and if you have a short ram think about moving it or putting a cover over it so when it rains it doesn't get soaked.

I keep the covers off and then when it rains I put the drip trays back on.

I think thats the way I did it.

I attached them with velcro.

i lack the drip tray, so i'll have to get them down the raod. all i have is the vents and screens. i'm thinking maybe some small pieces of angle iron under the hood to attach the bots to? any thoughts?

Putting GP louvers would be easier to install because they sit on top of the hood, where as Z34 louvers sit flush in a recessed stamping.

beat me to it, if you want to go through the trouble of cutting a hole and welding on a small flange to the bottom inside of the hood for them to sit in more credit to ya. I'd do Gp louvers

Any idea how a Z34 hood would fit on his cutty? If possible.

I don't think that is possible. His hood is more curved at the front.

i have tgp ones too, i just like the look of the z34 ones better, and the fact that they are flush. maybe i'll get another cutty hood to hack up and see how it works out
