bigdman
what exactly is a u-bend delete? I can't figure it out.
Euro
U- bend is a part in the exhaust of all 2nd Gen w-bodies. It's right after the downpipe, and theres a bend in the piping thats something like 1.75/2" I think where GM thought it would be a good idea and put a 2nd O2 sensor. It's a huge loss of exhaust flow, and a lot of people cut that out(and maybe the resonator) and weld in a piece of straight pipe to get rid of the bend. It supposedly gives a few extra HP and it reduces knock on the L67 cars.

bigdman
wow I love gm cars but that's another excellent ideas from the engineers at gm that would probably make a noticable difference. that's worse than the stock y-pipe on a first gens dual exhaust. thanks for the info and pics
