You will have to tackle this from the top. Remove the air intake and air filter housing. From there, you will be able to see everything that you need to get to, I believe. Robby1870
There's a couple of ways to do this. 1) Many people have done it this way. Drop the rear subframe bolts a 2 or 3 inches to allow clearance to reach up to the rack to disconnect the line(s). 2) Is through the top. If you look directly below the brake fluid reservoir and master cylinder you can see where both lines attach to the rack. The hard part about this way, I think, is going to be routing the new line(s).
J
damn i wish they made twisted torque stars in 22's! i did them from the top on my car and it wasn't that bad

Its just a matter of bolting it in and out, but it if you don't have a stubby 18mm for the connection to the rack it will take forever. With it, it can be done in 20 minutes. I actually have a craftsman 18mm wrench in my tool box that I cut in half just for w-body pressure hoses. rockfangd
well the hardest part i see is breaking them loose fom the rack withou stripping them. And i always do it myself because i trust noone with my car but me. and i really like to save money by aggrivating myself lol. But at least i always have the satisfaction that i did the job myself so i did the job right
theoneliln
i just changed my high pressure hose.. what a pain! lol idk it was just a big pain in the ass becuz the goddamn bolts wouldn't match up and it didn't help that the space where you would fit the wrench was fuckign like a 2 inch hole. Did you cut yourself? I always have to cut myself. Not on purpose, but just because I slipped or something. Then I bleed on the car and it will work. I can mess with the thing all day long and until I get hurt, the car will not run. LOL!
